High resolution sprites for Punio, a friendly insect pseudo-partner from Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door.

Very early in Mario's quest, he spots the small bug taking shelter inside the Rogueport Sewers, a few rooms away from the Thousand Year Door. In truth, Punio's home, the Great Boggly Tree, had been invaded and seized by the X-Nauts. His sister's life also on the line, Punio escaped the Tree in hopes of finding back-up. Luckily, Mario, Goombella and Koops, followed by Madame Flurrie, were that back-up.

Once inside the tree, with some difficulty, Punio was able to stir his fellow Punis to fight back against their tormentors. He also ensured his sister was alright.
