My first try at food-photography, so please be nice. ^^I have no clue about decorating or anything, i just tried to make it look like it was a sunny afternoon.
I took the shot with the intention to put text on it, as it is to be used as an advertisement, that's why the cake is out of focus, to not interfere too much with the text to be put in.

It does seem like it was taken in a sunny afternoon. (: And I like the addition of the coffee beans around the coffee cup. Looks nice!

Yup, i tried to get it. Prepared and decorated everything in advance, did lots of testing on the light, then brewed and poured the coffee just about a minute before i took this shot.

hmm...sehr lecker. Ich find auch die Kombination mit den Kaffeebohnen gut, obwohl man die glaub ich auch hΓ€tte weglassen kΓΆnnen.
Was natΓΌrlich nicht so toll ist, dass dein Tisch einscheinend zu klein ist und du deswegen den Kuchen und den Kuchenteller auf der anderen Seite anschneiden musstest. Das ist etwas Γ€rgerlich, ansonsten wΓΌrde das Bild fast wie aus einer Melitta Werbung aussehen ^^

Naja die Kaffeebohnen sollten das ganze halt verstΓ€rken und der Tasse noch ein biΓchen Farbe und Kontrast bieten. Sonst wΓ€re das ganze Bild irgendwie ein Einheitsmatsch, bis auf den Kaffee in der Tasse.
Ja, hatte ich glaube schon geschrieben, der Tisch war echt zu klein und der Teller, auf dem das KuchenstΓΌck stand, zu groΓ, als dass mir die Komposition irgendwie richtig zusagen wΓΌrde.

Hmmm, yeah, maybe i should go for a bigger table next time. Couldn't make the crop much bigger withouth having the edges of it in the frame and making the pic a whole more cluttered.
