I have been active as a graphic designer for more than 20 years and have worked for major swedish magazines and publishing houses; books, covers, cards, posters, home pages, illustrations, CD covers etc. I have also produced several books of my own. The cover above is for Thomas Pynchons novel V. The shortest book title I have encountered. The title can, among other things, refer to Venus, but using Bottilcellis "Birth of Venus" as it is, would have been a little to obvious so I opted for the goddess to vanish completely into thin air. It took some time, but in the end I was quite pleased.
