While not LITERALLY a "rabbit hole", this page was a fun one showing Sebastian reluctantly following Dachs down a hole in the rocks to a mysterious destination.Sebastian has not gained any dexterity in becoming a raccoon.

Hugh Laurie starred in a lot of hilarious British comedies before landing his completely different semi-serious role as House. Every once in a while, though, some of the "younger Hugh Laurie" style slips into an episode of House, and it's both jarring and delightful every time I see those little reminders that it is, in fact, the same Hugh Laurie.
That's what you remind me of right now.
It's because what you're doing here is obviously a completely different animal (so to speak?) but you can still fit in the occasional bit of the classic D&C humor, and thus remove all doubt that you are, indeed, Derrick Fish.
And that is awesome!

One of the prime influences on "The Wellkeeper" is "The Secret of NIMH". And like that classic film, I want to be able to move naturally from humor to action to drama as dictated by the story and characters. Sebastian is the through line in that regard as the only character to interact with EVERY aspect of the story and hit every emotional beat. (since he starts the story as a human teenager and becomes a raccoon midway through issue 2)

Your ability to crosshatch is dazzling. I have my own personal experience with it and quite honestly, having to do these inking strokes... it's not easy D=. And to combine it with brilliant lighting, shocking and lots of energy.
Um... may I ask for an estimation of how long it took you to do this page? Through and through?
