Fabienne has been feeling really depressed lately. Apart from that ridiculous large and sweaty neck brace, she had to wear braces with attached headgear. Just like some awkward teenager.

And then she broke her hip. Isn't that something that only happens to old people? Her broken hip was treated with a massive hip spica cast, which effectively restricted her movement and in turn her autonomy quite a bit as well. As she couldn't possibly make it to the toilet on her own, the nurses made her wear a diaper whenever they left her alone. Like a toddler.

And if that wasn't enough, she broke both her arms and her neck when she tried to regain some of her autonomy by using crutches. Now with both arms in heavy plaster casts, she couldn’t get around at all. She couldn't feed herself. Hell, she couldn’t even turn her head due to the metal pins drilled into it, locking it into place. One of the nurses had to place a mirror in her living room so she could at least see who’d enter her appartement. Now, she spent most of her days sitting arround, watching old films.
Yes, Fabienne has really maneuvered herself into a dead end.
