Sophie: “My goodness Eliane, what happened to you?”
Eliane: “It’f kinda embarraffing - I went curling wifh fome friendf of mine..”
Sophie: “I didn’t know curling was that dangerous!?”
Eliane: “It ufally ifn’t.. I’m juft a very unlucky player! Well, we nearly won, but fhen my knee gave out and I toppled on fhe ice juft in front of vhe fircle. One of fhe over girlf already flid anovher ftone, fo I tried to get out of fhe way - but af fhe pain hit me, I realized fomething waf wrong and plunged back on fhe ice. Of courfe fhe ftone hit me right in fhe jaw - nevft fhing I remember waf waking up in an ambulanve.”
Sophie: “Oh my god, that’s some seriously bad luck!”
Eliane: “Evfactly.. but atleaft I got Aline who will take care of me.”
Sophie: “Well that’s true. You two know already how long this will last?”
Aline: “The doctor at the hospital couldn’t give us an precise date.. But since she broke her collarbone, fore- and upper arm as she fell on the ice and the curling stone cracked two vertebrae and caused some serious dental damage, it will certainly be weeks if not months.”
