Took a break from a larger piece I'm working on and did this small drawing. I'll be adding some color and will re-post later in the week. Hope everyone had a good weekendRelated content

the line style is just great! and have an awesome effect betwen the the 2D draw and the volume shadows, that remmeber the videogames, ye old good videogames.

hey, Yopocris. yeah. There's something about those outlines that I like. So I tend to still use them even though my work I try to make dimensional. glad you dig!

i don't see how the hell you draw in pen.... i know you answered this before but dude you gotta sketch in pencil first, you just GOTTA!

lol hey, Cornelius. This drawing is in pencil. I sketch in pen cause it's quick and sorta careless, so pencil tends to smear. But with final pieces like this one, I normally draw in pencil, but only try and put down final lines. Not a lot of sketchy ones

How long does it usually take you to create a piece like this one?

thanks, SlixArt. I probably spent about 5-6 hours. But a lot of that time is stepping back and analyzing what to do with the drawing.

5 to 6 hours is still pretty good considering the amount of details you have in this illustration. I saw some of your other work, pretty impressive tattoo design? Did you ever draw a full back tattoo on your character? I sent you a note as well. All the best,

It's something that I've given some thought. I'd like to design a back piece, but it's incorporating it to a character that's still engaged with the viewer, that i'm still trying to figure out.
