I love the concept idea very much. I also love how the picture capitalizes on the change rather than what you used to be like most ideas.
The art is also fantastic. It's not the classic swirly sparkly change with as many rainbow colors as possible. It's more simplistic with key colors and it looks like feathers, like wings spreading. The grainy isn't a bad look for the idea either.
Suggestion: Shape the body a bit more, to be a bit more realistic or make it all more flow-y like a soul.
