Wow, oke! this is pretty good. You havent posted that much, so i dont know how old you are guessing 15) and your expierence, but this is a cool start.

Personally i think it looks a bit like a logo for some kind of eatable product, you know what i mean? Your skills are good, you just need to focus on what you want to make clear. Make it wilder and play with more colors. Also, fill in the black and white open area's. This makes it look more 'finished'.

hey thanks for the advice, really aprechiated so thanks! - and yeah i can see what your saying abought the whole "eatable product" thing lol , though personally it remindeds me of a poker chip for some reason ... also about focusing on what i want to make clear, well in this peace just my name really it was sort of a mess around project to see what i could do i how i could do it etc...

- also since your super good at illustrator ... i was wondering if you had any tips about what to really learn in it ? like a key skill that will help in anything else that i want to do in illustrator.

Actually: i suck at illustrator. I never really started using it. I prefer Photoshop, and every now and then i use Illustrator to make small vector objects. So i can't help you there. But the way to get a grip on programs is by making Tutorials. That works the best. Just make a few simple images, that is the fastest way to learn how to work with PS and Illustrator.
