was tought it today at college, i love that place... any way its my first ever decent photo... taken out side my house, with 10sec exposure.

its called long exposure, its where the shutter on your camera is open for say 10 seconds. you can do it on most modern digital cameras or an SLR or dSLR, if you look next to your aperture number (f/4.9) theres your shutter speed. E.g. 1/50 which means one fiftyth of a second. If you turn that down untill you get to say, 3.2" that means 3.2 seconds, so your shutter will stay open for 3.2 seconds. just remember to adjust your aperture accordingly to avoid over or under exposing your shot.
