I have had a hard time getting Knotplot to export images at a decent resoultion, have they changed the program from when i played with it a year ago??

The export image is small, and I don't know how to make it any bigger. I even wrote to the creator of Knotplot and asked him if there was any way to make a larger render. He never answered my email. This is a screen print, which is the only way I know of making it a bit larger (1024x768, I think). The resolution is not that great, as I often see "jaggies" on the curved lines!

Wow...this is gorgeous Jean! It looks like enameled, decorative ironwork! Very creative with luscious colors!

Thank you, Anita. I have been converting all sorts of regular black and white shapes into vector shapes (that means that, no matter how big or small I make them with vector art, there will never be any jaggies due to aliasing). It was just a challenge to figure out how to do this, and now I'm converting all sorts of stuff to vectors! The KnotPlot "woven" images were quite a nice surprise, and I'm glad I was able to incorporate them into my vector stuff.

Well, I'm really glad you like it! I kinda like it, too, but if I had it to do over again, I'd try to do a rectangular image, rather than a square. But the square seemed best at the time....

I do!
Is it harder to do the square, or you just like rectangle better?

I think the rectangle is more visually pleasing. I've been making a few square things lately, though; I did two fractals that seemed to fit best in a square frame.

Again from the thumb, I wasn't so impressed...but after seeing it I'm MOST impressed! Beautiful!

thank you. I think the thumbs are a bit dull. The real story here is all that detailed work! I've also made a whole collection of custom styles (like the rollover buttons, etc.), but put jewel tones and other things in them to make them look snazzy! Fooling around with vector art and styles is so much fun, for a change.

Oh definately, I would never just look at the thumb and judge art...but sometimes I can't tell if I'll like it through a thumb. And I don't know why anyone would have their settings set to just see the small view of a work....I have to always fullview, love the details Most welcome

Thank you so much, Mary Ann. I'm glad you like it, and appreciate your comments. Quite a lot of work went into this, but the hard part was figuring out how to create those custom vector shapes. Once I figured out how, it went smoothly.

Thank you, Corina! I'm glad you like this design. It took me quite awhile to assemble all these shapes, but I had fun anyway.
