I only ride in my car! I got fed up with horses when I took riding lessons (as a kid) and one of the beasts stepped on my foot--on purpose!

when I was young, I got threw off from a full grown horse. It hurt like crazy.

U should try riding elephant. They are much more gentle.

We have a Toyota and a really old Acura with 105K miles on it. Since we're both retired, we hardly ever drive any more, so we should probably get rid of one of those cars; but we won't, because we love 'em. Back when one or both of us worked, 2 cars were necessary (travel to/from work, chores/errands during the day). I'm so glad we don't have to drive much any more because of the horrible gas prices!

I don't like the idea of riding animals...they all leave you smelling funny afterwards. With horses, I used to get a rash on my legs from their sharp hairs! I know there are some people who are just crazy about the whole horse thing, but I'm not one of them. Walking is much, much better!

Never occur to me that U r retired.

Wow.. only 105K miles? No way. Mine is a 2007 car and it's already 47K miles.

I prefer walking too, but it's good to do some new stuff. Maybe I'll ride a whale next.
