Thanks, Jenn. I wish all my friends at DA could have been with me on this walk. THere were so many pretty things to see! This shot was somewhat difficult to get...I wanted the sun, but I wanted plenty of ground detail and color in the trees. So I positioned the camera so that the sun was mostly blocked by a tree trunk and got some decent results!

Sometimes you have to play to get results like that. And you did a great job!

I would've loved to have been on that walk. I was holed up in the local borough office doing election work again!

Thanks so much. I don't blame you for wanting to be outta that office! I know you don't like it, and it's really hard to think about all the places you'd rather be! (I know because I went through this, too; finally I escaped for good!)

Yeah, I'm still trying. I still haven't heard back from that pharmiceutical company yet. I e-mailed the one guy last Wednesday and said that they should have made a decision by the beginning of this week. Well, it's now Thursday. I guess I"ll try again, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Well, I am still keeping my fingers crossed and hoping, Jenn. Going through a job interview and getting your hopes up, only to be turned down, is no fun. I've been down that path a couple of times! But even if they do say "no," there will be other opportunities in the future. I have heard it said that looking for a job is a full-time job in itself. Maybe a maximum frontal offensive, with saturatiion bombing of your resume, phone calls, letters, etc., will yield results. ANd of course, prayers.

Thanks, Jean. I actually called the HR guy that initially contacted me today. He said that I'm still a candidate, and that he will be meeting with others to make a decision.

Yup, I've sent out a TON of resumes, that's for sure!

I'll keep rooting for your, Jenn. It ain't over yet! Sometimes these companies call people back for second interviews...usually to talk or be introduced to higher management. That's when you know you've got a good chance!
