ooooooh, snow!! A lot of places here have gotten snow already, but not where I am I'm hoping we will get some good coverage this year, but I'm doubting it.

We got a big helping of the stuff last night. It's kind of unusual for it to snow this early in December, but it has happened. The weatherman says more on Friday, and maybe even next Monday! That is unsual.

Thank you very much. I'm so flattered that you like it, as I consider you a darned good photographer. I've got tons of snow shots from last year, but I've only posted a few on DA. I don't want to engage in overkill! I might get some snow opportunities this weekend, Monday, or Wedesday--if the weather man is right!

I believe Christmas is a good season for representations of snow. It is in the holiday spirit, as long as I am not shoveling it. LOL

No, shoveling is not cool. I hope we don't have to do it. The skies were so heavy and gray today; it really "felt" like snow.

They are beautiful to behold.
Want snow? come here! We had 4 inches over the weekend that never melted fully and awoke to 4 more this morning!

No no no! That's too much, too soon! I meant about 3 inches in January and February, and that's enough. We've had years in which we've had almost no snow. Maybe that will happen again, but I doubt it.

hahahahahahahhahahaha I wish we only got like 3 inches and not until January or February hehe. A year here without snow is very rare. Im ready for these storm systems to stop blowing through. Its COLD!!

heh no not really, but I stay holed up inside with tea, blankies, soup, water, juice, the like. and the heater turned up in whatever room im in lol. just avoid it annd its not to bad. some rooms in our house are warmer than others, so extra blankies in the colder rooms makes it bearable but yeah i havent been outdoors in days.

Thank you. It's fun for awhile, but then you get tired of shoveling it out of the driveway and walkway. It is pretty, though.

Snow followed by rain is SO not fun, esp. when you have to shovel the stuff.. It's so heavy.

Well, here it is Monday morning, and the snow that was threatened to hit us never materialized. I'm just as glad because I don't want to shovel at all!

yea i bet! shoveling really sucks! im glad that my dad has a snow plow!

desmo100 In reply to LostBlond [2005-12-06 19:48:13 +0000 UTC]
We would buy one if our property wasn't so strange. We have a steep hill with steps and a very narrow driveway, so that would make pushing a snowplow impossible. All these older neighborhoods are like that here in Arlington, too.

LostBlond In reply to desmo100 [2005-12-11 22:02:19 +0000 UTC]
well the only reason my dad put one on the truck was becuase our drive way is half a mile long..... which would suck if you had to shovel it!

Nope, this was last winter. But I HOPE we get a nice, picture post card snow. I really like snow, as long as it doesn't get out of hand, like a blizzard. But I like it to melt after a couple of days, too.

Thank you so much. I love snow pix, too. I got about 50 last winter, and there were many good ones in that batch. The best shots are out in the woods, by a creek. And that's the kind of thing I shot back then. I'm hoping for some good luck in the snow department this winter!
