Description
Finally free, she looks up to the sky with fear and wonder as the rain splashes her face for the first time...Sequel to: Her wish was granted: to be human. To be more than a doll and plastic parts. Suddenly she was flesh and blood, laughter and guilt.
It didn't take long for the wrong people to notice her. Something so pristine, untouched, unspoiled, there was something so unhuman in her new found humanity.
They took her in and started the tests. She appeared to be perfect, her cells showed no signs of age, they thought she could be the cure, the cure for humanity.
She didn't speak of her past life, though it was written on her arm; in a tattoo which used to be a Makers Mark printed inside her hollow arm. They never could explain it.
They used her for years, her 'childhood' spent in a cell.
Her freedom won from the strangest of places, when they had exhausted all the tests, when they realise she was just human after all.
They dump her outside. Discarded for being only human.
Abandoned but free. Her humanity is a blessing and a curse... what will she do now?
After note: Her wound is self inflicted, hoping to rid herself of the mark that she's different, she takes the physical pain to try and remove the emotional pain...

I swear your art gets better with every piece! But...I might have mentioned that before.
I simply adore the rain effect and the amount of colors you've managed to put in this piece, without the blue taking over too much. The details in this are wonderful! Especially in her face and hand. The wounds are really subtle and fit the whole scene.

but back onto topic.
great piece is usual, strong emotions, and most of all its the truth (albeit a more literal version of the truth). so many places will throw you out for being normal (universities, jobs, etc...)
As the Dilbert cartoon once said

just a point to make. the wound on her arm. I'm guessing it was using her own nails (due to the blood on them). but surely nails wouldn't make such clean cuts. those look like they where made with something as sharp as a knife.
I don't have experience of self harm so im not an expert but it just crossed my mind.

This is truely incredible Blue, just like all of your otheer art. You tell a very good story behind this picture. Her face is so full of emotion!
I love the way you draw eyes. They have a sweet shape that really defines who this girl is. The highlights are very well placed and make her look hopeful and amazed. You also have a lot of detail in those eyelashes.
Her jawline is very well shaped and the apples of her cheeks make her look quite cute. The way her mouth hangs open slightly gives a good impression that she is in awe and wonder, and helps boost the idea that she has never felt rain before.
Her hair is absolutly stunning! There is so much detail in each strand, and it almost seems to glow. I like how it is also somewhat matted by the water.
Her skin looks amazing. It is smooth and luminous, which is a good thing to show that she is young and innnocent.
The effects are breathtaking as well! The rain looks very realistic and detailed, but it doesn't draw attention away from the character herself. The blue hue gives the impression that it's cloudy, or maybe night. I also love the way the raindrops patter off her head!
The shading and highlights are very realistic. Her shoulders are a little bit shiny, which makes them look wet. The shadows are placed very well around her hands and face to give them a lot of definition.
This is a very impressive piece you have here! Keep up the excellent work!

She's so soft and pretty, and vulnerable, as a human--it seems that what we ardently desire, which will make everything perfect, is seldom what we think it is--yet there is much ahead for our former doll, now that she is free from being meddled with---she may even come to embrace her makers-mark, after it heals...let the rain wash you clean of pain...
