well i need practice with girls... so i thought i would draw my favorite female character ever XD! Yes, with all the vampire and fantasy stuff i like like... Sci fi just thrills me XD and the Metroid series pretty much... how do i put it... gave me a hero to look up to. Samus was covered with armor through the whole game and she was a hard and ass kicking female which you do not see in the game world often... IE Lara and some of the other VG heroins who show off skin and naughty aptitudes with nothing to back up their strength in the game but boobs >__>.Anyways... i like how this looks so far XD and if i ever get the time i might make it the cover for a online Metroid comic XD i have a story sorta... i have always wanted to do one but never managed to finish it lol

You were never bad at rendering girls -- but I did notice that you were a little bit better at sketching them than painting them. May I give you some hints?

Okay. First thing: your girls are FINE. You have the body structure down pat, and your proportions are perfect. The only area of weakness you have is, believe it or not, the bosom. When sketching the bust, you're good: nothing is overdone or overdrawn. You're okay and you have nothing to be concerned with. But when you paint them, you have a very sliiiiiiiiiiiight tendancy to over-define the shape, which makes them pop out -- and while this is good thing in the right contexts -- there are a couple of instances where it's not necessarily a good thing.
I recently saw the finished piece of Samus -- and it's beautiful. But when I looked at her bust, it seemed like the right boob was sagging a little. I'm not sure if this is because of it's actual shape, or if it's something to do with the shadning and defining -- it just looks a little off, and could probably be corrected with a slight tweak of the coloring.
But bosom not withstanding, your girls and their bodies are dead-on. The only problem is the bust -- and even then, it's just that one little thing. I hope this helps.

I have a hard time on drawing women too...
They typically come out like the men I draw.

If I ever come across a copy of the original Metroid, I'd pick it up for you since I no longer have the original Nintendo.
