A lot of people have PM'd/noted/asked me about how I made my Miki hat over various websites. So I thought it was about time I made a tutorial so that I can link here whenever someone next asks me!Be nice, it's my first tutorial! I'd love tips on how to make it better~
Also... My hat was a tad on the small side because I was being an idiot, I have my moments! So please please please make sure you wear your wig properly and measure your head that way!! Give room for seam allowance as well, I would've been able to wear it whilst running, jumping, etc if I had made it long enough! I've learnt my lesson, but please don't make the same mistakes as I have! [Make it long enough so that it fits over your head nicely as well lol, this is what I get for being lazy!]

If you just enlarge the panels but use the same directions then you should be able to get Utau's Black Diamond hat. The height should be around 12-13" I discovered as I've made a super baggy hat just recently.
If you're willing to wait a couple of months I'll be more than happy to make a tutorial. But unfortunately I'm moving to Uni in under a week and my sewing machine isn't coming with me so I don't have time this week, sorry!

aww thankz !! i am having a bit of trouble finding the wig...but my friends told me its okay with out the wig..but i want the wig..cause it won't look as good as miki should..(like you have it...a nice blue wig)...^_^!

I got mine from a seller called wigmad on eBay, it's a bit on the thin side but the majority is being hidden by the hat anyway!

Roughly... 5-7" It curves at the end to make it smaller though!

Uhh... Fi.... Circumference divided by pi = diameter, which means you had to divide that number by 2 to get radius, instead of multiplying...
But mathematical mistakes aside, awesome tutorial! 8D This is gonna be useful in the future, ufufufufu... >D

*facepalm* Oh yah, don't know why I wrote that. Maybe I had 2piXr in my head so got rather than doing the opposite I just wrote it out as it was as I was writing the tutorial... I shall go edit it now xD Thanks for letting me know!

It is actually really simple!! I did it through experimenting so it was kinda hard at first, but once I got going it was very easy ^__^

Yup! It was very interesting and I had an epic facepalm moment halfway through when I was having trouble getting it to look neat, then my mum says I should have used masking tape. It was a little too late for the front side >.> lol!
