Another from my ink and digital series, although this is a lot more ink and a lot less digital.............hope everyone can tell that the wolves are supposed to be like 30 feet tall..............

Thanks, it's actually sumi ink! It behaves a little differently from watercolor and I really like the effects it creates.

I absolutely love this work. I could tell immediately that the wolves are unnaturally tall (I didn't even read your description at first view) - and I liked how it took me a small moment to actually notice there were figures amongst the forest - it gives the piece an eerie, but, quite strangely, a comforting atmosphere. The textures are beautiful and so is the subtle colouring. I just want to linger with the world and quiet emotion in this painting.

A little human foreground figure could help to establish scale- just my two cents

That was actually in my original composition idea, but I took it out because I thought it would be too much like "ah! a human for you to identify with!" idk though, there is still hope...

It's really just a standard unit of recognizable scale. You could do the same thing with a house, or even a little bit of fence- just anything human-sized with high-frequency detail. That said: this is gorgeous.
