Points to me for the most shoddy rushjob background in the world! Waheey.I got around to 'finishing' (in the loosest sense of the word) this much earlier than I expected. Obviously I have important real work to avoid.

one: javvie looks like he's interested the most loved convict ever and
two: javvie's hair coloring puts me in the mind set of johhny depp's sweeny todd.

Well it's kind of at about the time that Javert follows Valjean into the sewers. Or the confrontation once Valjean gets out of the sewers. At around this time anyway. But thanks a lot!!

I was browsing through my favorites and re-clicked on this just to visit it again...and, uh...I noticed that Javert's shirt is unbuttoned halfway. And he has such wonderously awesome sideburns, but no freaking chest hair.

Oh dear. I quite like this, especially Javert. (I am a Javert fan, he's so fun to draw.) Nice how his expression is haughty and unruffled but his grip on Valjean's wrist says "Get your ****ing hands off me." (Though it looks almost like Valjean intends to kiss him

I think it's his sideburns. I'm extremely fond of Valjean, but I find myself drawing Javert more, and it just has to be those glorious sideburns.
It's at the sewers, and Valjean wants Javvie to let him through with Marius. I mean, it could be - that's what I had in mind when drawing it, but people can see it however they want

Ahh, the sewer scene makes more sense; Valjean would be desperate enough to seize Javert's collar. Oh, and let me reassure you that in full-view it doesn't look like Valjean has anything like THAT on his mind, it only occurred to me when I glanced at the small view. *whew*
