As a race of preternatural beings living in between the Regular and Minus realms, these scientific impossibilities may offer clues to the true appearance of Minus World.

Minus Worms are Ghostly parasites nicknamed for their affinity to Minus World. Their name is a misnomer, as they are one of the many technically "nonexistant" lifeforms that live in-between the Minus World realm and our own reality, where they feed entirely on the energies exchanged between the two realms. Those who discovered the Minus Worm originally attributed it as a creature OF the namesake plane, setting an incorrect naming convention. As a creature who is both a hybrid of two worlds and an originator from none, it borrows qualities from our existence and the Minus World, though which parts come from where-and to what proportion-are a mystery. Every part of its anatomy serves some purpose with the exception of its mouth, which seems borrowed from our side, and entirely superficial.

All Minus Worms are the same color, appearance, and grow to the same size. They have an indeterminate lifespan after which they duplicate into two Minus Worms, each of which is slightly more than half the mass of the parent, ignoring conservation of matter. This species is completely harmless to any being existing in either plane of reality, but will rapidly turn predatory in the presence of an outsider who somehow finds itself caught between the two sides, something thought to happen roughly once in every 13,245 Minus World incursions.
