it's actually optimized for 1024 and above (960px wide)
but thumbnails and description sections are stretchable

The idea was tagging the featured screenshots with some related keywords,
so the SE robots can find them easier...

I know but what if you have more tags than you have now and somebody has a 1280x1024 monitor? that's why I wasn't sure about that part

good question, I was thinking about that a lot.
actually the site min. width would be 960-980px
but those thumbnail and description sections/bars
would be scaled to full browser width.
1. others tags could be hidden (overflow) and just just showing
the first 3-4 and with a button you could slide/show them
2. or they could also go below the description and the bar
would be bolder etc.
I have a 960px version of that bar by the way, but the desc.
is too short and the same problem with the tags.
I am still thinking about a good/better solution

Naw bro, looks great no issues .. except that maybe the layout is too wide, as 960px grid is considered the best to go with currently for all screens
