Lol, so recently I've been reading one of the TNG book series. And, because of the lack of a bookmark, I made one! Haha!Apparently this shows my nerdiness. Since I NEED a Star Trek bookmark for my Star Trek books. (according to Mark)
But hey, I love it. I printed it out on photo paper at 78%, if anyone wants to use it XD (doubtful, but there's the oppurtunity~)
I actually made quite a few. But I like this one best.
It's of Data from the Star Trek movie "First Contact"
If you're wondering about his face... the Borg queen grafted organic skin on there and part of his forearm to tempt him into following her.
But he's smarter than that 8D

Interesting, I have never seen this picture. It is a bit scary. For Data, imo, real flesh etc. is a step back. He proved to be so useful just because he was NOT human, and saved the crew on so many occassions. And people love him as he is.

You've never seen First Contact, then? It's a great movie, I suggest it.
That's the ironic thing. He's so useful as he is, but he says so himself--
"I would give it all up, to be human." It the 2nd episode, in fact XD
Honestly, though? The only reason I like that pic so much is because of his hair XP it's different from the usual, well-kept slick back. I think it looks cuter, personally.

The hair reminds me of young Dr Soong. Not sure, but I think I still like Data's hair more.

Well, the borg are a collective of beings that were once organic, then 'assimilated', which means that they received mechanical implants and such. They're more like thrones, they're not individuals anymore. 'Cept for the queen. She just controls everything.
Data's whole goal in life is to become more human XD so, in trying to get him to join her forces, she allows him to experience the sensation of touch by making new, working skin for him >>; For a lot of the movie, you're left wondering if he really did join her side though XP
