So recently I've gotten into Star Trek... particularly Data, from The Next Generation series. He's what got me into it!For the past week I've been doing practice sketches of his face... it was definitely a challenge, especially since a lot of it was done from memory. (I've been at school drawing him)
I tried converting him to anime style, I did! But it never really... looked like him. So I did it realistically.
I've been planning on this pic for awhile now. :3 Been working on it all day XD
And sorry if the details on the uniform are off, it was kinda hard to find clear screencaps of his movie attire.
I hope you guys like it!

I understand, Data's face and anime just don't mix well! You really gotta get his nose and the shape of his face even remotely right to get it to look like him... which is hard. XD;

Good stuff... the shading is really nicely done. The only uniform detail i can see that's off is the sleeve. For Lt Cdr it should be 2 thick stripes and one thin (I THINK)

I'm more used to drawing TOS than the others, I've only drawn one picture to date of Data. Of the pictures I've actually posted anyway. {I draw shitloads more than whats on my DA, and what I post on DA is usually my shittiest XD}
