I just saw the other photos you uploaded that made a reference to South Padre, and though I haven't been down there in years, I remember Park Road 100 is the one that spans the lagoon.

I also saw from your profile that you appear to live in San Antonio.  I'm from the Houston area.

This is my first time visiting South Padre Island.  It's very beautiful here.

Haven't been to Houston recently, used to go there for conventions all the time.  Especially Oni-con, but they moved to Galveston for some reason .  Nice to meet you though man .

You'd think that as big and populous as Texas is, there'd be more DA members from there, but I haven't found many.  I mean, sure, there's the Texasdevmeet group but they haven't held any events in Houston lately.

I have met quite a few Deviants in San Antonio.  But it would be nice to have an official meet up.  I don't really consider myself much of an artist though.  I try...but Software Engineering is my true love in life and my career.  I consider code to be artistic, but I'm sure I'm the only one that feels that way.

I can understand.  I see art in the CAD drawings I create for work on a daily basis, and in fact have used AutoCAD to create some artistic things.
