Hi guys! Here's the flash comic about the story for my school project!
This flash comic is intended to spread awareness about our environment, and that we humans are harming it, in a way that children as well could understand, which is inspired by ROTG and yuumei .

Mm, yeah, that's true, but I don't blame the lack of promotion, since the environment surrounding us everyday is a promotion of it on its own. I blame the people more, and lack of initiative to do something for the environment, even if it's a little thing. I'm astounded why, actually, since these things are really simple to do--I mean, I don't see anything too hard about turning off unnecessary light or electricity, don't you? It reduces electricity bills and contributes to a better environment.
Ah, that's a good idea... thank you for your thoughts >< There hasn't been anything too depressing in my life, though, so it might take some time for me to come up with something orz it's either that, or I'm used to how I live xD

Jeez, for a minute there I thought I was going to cry.Β
...Okay *pulls it together*
First off, The art. I love all of it, but particularly your use of lighting and the facial expressions. Β The way the background color seemed to get darker as the story did really added drama, and the expressions of the characters were very believable. Lots of emotion in there. (that's kind of a big deal to me because I've seen a lot of people who seem to have trouble pulling that off. I'm one of 'em. XD)
As for the story, the theme is a very important one, and the way it's delivered, makes it all the more dynamic. The state of the world and nature has never been so focused on as it is these days, and the fact that you not only put in into an animation, one of the most viewed forms of storytelling, but also personified nature and sky, is just... This could possibly be one of the most influential "commentaries" on this particular topic. At least, as far as I've seen.Β
Overall, it's very touching. Showing that even the smallest hope is still a hope for a better tomorrow. I would have added this to my favorites even if it wasn't for a contest.Β This is absolutely lovely.Β Β

I would say maybe you could find a way to incorperate music, but that'd be hard to make it fit, Β considering everyone reads at a different pace.

Ah! I was also planning to use music (in fact, I've created some tunes already hahaa) but that's what I thought as well, so I'm not entirely sure about putting it in the story ><

Wow. I'm speechless. That was absolutely amazing! I couldn't stop reading it once I started.Β
Visual: The art itself and the technique you used reminds me of story books. This has serious potential to become published one day (if its not published yet). The colored fonts were easy to follow and made it much easier for me to distinguish who was talking. Outstanding use of water paint also.
Story: I liked the creativity of your story and the originality. The human who turned against her, are all the humans who abuses nature today. And the "hope" in the beginning in the end? Absolutely genius!Β
Thank you for sharing this beautiful story and artwork. And I'm sorry I gave you such a long response; I just wanted to check out the giveaway journal posted, she referred me, and didn't expect this stunning work at all. I cant wait to see your other works!

I didn't expect that comic would be that good. I like a lot the argument of the comic! But the fount it's just tiring. I mean that the fount you used for it it's hard to read while a simplier one would be better than that you already have (of course that's my opinion).
If i should say anything more it's that would be awesome if you had worked more on the backgrounds.

I mean the fount when they are talking (the human and skye), for me at least, it just too much.
In my opinion that's not kind of fount for a comic. If it was just on a letter or something like that would be great. But,Β if u must read thatΒ all the time it's tiring for me at least.
I will repeat it: That's my opinion of courseΒ you should get more feedback about that and thenΒ reach to a conclusion!
