Hi guys! Here's the flash comic about the story for my school project!
This flash comic is intended to spread awareness about our environment, and that we humans are harming it, in a way that children as well could understand, which is inspired by ROTG and yuumei .

Being rather wary of how apathetic most people seem to be in concern to protecting our environment, I'm glad to see you focusing on the topic and getting people involved in raising its awareness. I truly fear the day any child asks their parent what a tree is. It's heart breaking. That being said, the girl's apparent kindness and curiosity caught me off guard when she's living in this hopeless world ruined by pollution. I can't imagine living like that, and the disorder that would cause within society would be incredibly frightening. (however I realize that, as you said, this was meant to be shown in a way that children could understand and that material may have been too heavy). The story was a good way to demonstrate the avaricious tendencies of some humans, but you made a nice contrast by also showing the young girl's aversion to that same greed, as well as the mother's disappointment with the disappearance of trees and hope. It was a good balance instead of straight out saying all people are awful, and children definitely need to hear that side of the story too... The side which tells them that they can help stop the problem rather than exacerbate it. Β
Your style is very beautiful. I'm especially drawn to the way you draw eyes. The emotions are so realistic and true because of the way you draw expressions, and although there is room for improvement, the same is true for all artists. Overall... wonderful, fantastic, lovely job. I genuinely enjoyed reading your story, and I'm thankful for having had the chance to hear about it. Β Β

i find this story very original, first time ive heard of itΒ
what was the story inspired by? i know gaea is part of a greek myth but ive never heard of skyeΒ
the animation transition for the "trees-flowers-life" was really great
adnd also skyes shocked or horrified expressions
maybe the earth in space could seem more realistic? idek
i think the slide when the human enters could seem more intense and maybe raising his arm a bit more to lift the hood
and it's probs just my computer but sometimes it lags and i have to press the arrow multiple times in order to get every teensy slide of animation to move

The storyline itself was inspired by a bunch of random different fandoms, like Avatar: Legend of Aang, Rise of the Guardians, etc. Skye was kind of inspired by Egyptian mythology (Nut and Geb, if you know them)

The art was really beautiful! You're very talented. The underlying message was good too. My only criticism is that at one point I had to click repeatedly to get the story to move on. I like the effect of the next building up the layers of art, but at some points, I think it took a bit too long.

this flash is really well do, the story is really impressive and it kick me in the guts because it reflect our futur, the way we torture all things around his, the heart, the sky, poisonning ourself, condemning our futur child to have a bright futur as us.
For the art, it's really cute, each character are well presented
but the "machine" the ennemy use is a little bit messy
beside that, it was excellent
