I didn't mean it in the way that it's bad, if it was bad why would I want to buy it?
I was just stating that it's a very high price.

yes it may be too expensive for you but did you ever think that's what the artist thought it was worth to her? and that maybe saying something like "it's too expensive" may have been like saying "it's not worth that price" to them?

dont you know your not suppose to go around to adopt makers and complain about their prices? IT IS RUDE. to them it is. you may see it as "blunt" but to others it IS rude.

if you like the design and want to buy then that's great buy it but if you hate the design then dont buy it. either way there's NO REASON for you to complain about the price. not even in hopes they'll knock it down. because that's insulting to ask an artist to knock down the price of something they worked hard on.

Besides, there may be someone out there who would be willing to pay that much for my designs (one can only hope) xD

Yes, you do have to wait until after the auction to send the payment, but only if you have the highest bid.
