Description
— I guess you could say I've always been alone. I mean, they say I'm the smartest man in the world, but the truth is I've often felt stupid at being unable to relate to anybody. Well... anyone living, that is. The only person with whom I felt any kinship died three hundred years before the birth of Christ. Alexander of Macedonia, you know him as Alexander the Great. His vision of a United world, well... it was unprecedented. I wanted... needed to match his accomplishments, and so I resolved to apply antiquity's teachings to our world today, and so began my path to conquest. Conquest not of men, but of the evils that beset them.The quote of Adrian Veidt from the movie "Watchmen" (2009).
Adrian Alexander Veidt, also known as "Ozymandias" is the smartest man in the world, the genius, the superhuman, the strategist, the billionaire and an ardent admirer of Alexander the Great. Ozymandias has the great intelligence, the will, the money, the power. The cold asexual (homoromantic) person with big ambition, beautiful appearance, eternal youth and Luciferian charisma. Adrian has a dark and mysterious nature, he is characterized as a deep, complex, ambiguous personality with a secretive character, with difficult to understand for most people his own principles and morality.
Some interesting article about his moral character.
"According to Worthington, Alexander was deemed great for his military abilities, his conquests, and his distance travelled, no person rivalled him. Yet Ozymandias exceeds all of these, deliberately going further then Alexander had; he is the smartest man on the planet, an economic strategist who built up a business empire from scratch that is powerful enough to monopolise entire markets, he is wealthy enough to buy private islands and build an Egyptian city in Antarctica; here we see an Alexander of the 80s, a empire of business not territory. Cooperate business is one of the few areas where an individual can succeed, can gain control of land and people, their lives and their general well being, and not been seen as a conqueror or an invader. " - (Watchmen's Ozymandaias as a twentieth-century Alexander).
- Deva.
P. S. I painted this art very carefully and painstakingly in order to achieve a photorealistic effect. And I'm pleased with the result

I love how cold and calculated his eyes are! His face is lovely and beautiful, but his stare is so intense and the black, white, and greys used are pretty good!

Aw, thank you! Before I was worried a bit, because I had never before painted this type of face as realistic as possible... his face is beautiful but hard to paint) anyway, it was an interesting and enriching experience. His emotions are very strong, they express a lot of hatred, regret, pride, but they also have a desire for harmony, ideal, peace, love... apparently he is phlegmatic and cold, but inside he longs for love. Since there is no decent man (yes, he is gay), he chose the asexual way. He is a vegetarian, which means he loves animals, he loves his pet Bubastis, so... somewhere deep down he has compassion. But... he went on a hard and dangerous path. Very complicated personality.
I tried to convey all this :}
