Mark Brooks made the cool pencils. The closest thing in his gallery I've seen to them is this:

I originally downloaded them a couple years back. Found these half finished inks in my pile of hundreds and hundreds as I was organizing things.
When I started this 2 or 3 years back, I originally was working with a 102 crowquil, but cant find my box of nibs....so finished this tonight with my running outta ink Staedtlers.
I think the first thing that is obvious is the solid blacks! Anyone who watches my work will know that is not my usuall style...I filled those back then (I managed to get a few thrown lines in tho...can you spot them?)
For comparison sake, the top twin and most of Neo was quill and the bottom twin was micron.
I'm not used to working on the cheapest Strathmore anymore either...really noticed the ink bleeding on this.

Anyways, part of my re-visiting the past series I suppose.
