Description Ok, I didn't want to call this a WIP, cuz I have too many of those at the moment ...Rather, a preview of what I hope to have done by the weekend. I usually take 2-3 hours on a Rocafort piece, and I'm into this one for 3 so far...
Anyways, working this to keep working my nib and practicing throwing my lines.

Cheers!

*EDIT*
Yay....halfway there! I think I'm going to cut these and butt them together before I finish. Any advice would be cool, cuz this is my first double spread.
I still half to do some clean up, will go through them both on the finish.

*EDIT*
Ok....I said my prayers and hoped that I did my alignment right in PS when I printed these out...because I figured I had to cut these babies and butt them together. I think it all worked. I taped them and inked the butt joint, then pulled it apart again for convenience of inking the second half.
Phew...man, it feels like I accomplished so much, then I sit back and look and say, gez...I got a ways to go still!

Almost there....

oh yeah. It's not a real project unless I have at least one nervous breakdown during the course of it.

From what number of the CyberForce-HunterKiller crossover was this? Or was this entirely Cyberforce?

I'm not too sure...I think this was her own book. Issue 1, pages 2 and 3 I believe

I have a question, how do you anchor the pages for spreads? I know how its done as far as manga goes, but I'm not sure if the process is different in other countries.

devgear In reply to JorgeSantiagoJr [2010-11-05 03:15:59 +0000 UTC]

I've never done this before, but will stitch them together in photoshop. Normally the 2 sheets have a mark where the pages are cut and butted together. I think that is the industry standard.

JorgeSantiagoJr In reply to devgear [2010-11-05 11:38:16 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, but in the drawing stage, did you have to tape them together or anything to make sure that the images lined up?

devgear In reply to JorgeSantiagoJr [2010-11-05 15:16:41 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I didn't draw these. It's Kenneth Rocafort's art. All the work I do is inking over his lines or other artists. Answering your question tho, I do think that is what they do.

JorgeSantiagoJr In reply to devgear [2010-11-06 06:16:18 +0000 UTC]

Okay, I guess you don't have to do that for the inks then. I see, thanks
