I really like this piece. It definitely has a unique feel to it and the sky is tremendously well done. I don't think I've seen actual hatching in colors before, but I have to say I like the use of it here. I'm sure it has much to do with that overall feel I enjoy about it.

James and Paul, this a super artwork. Great expressions. Congratulations.
They are beautifully chosen and linked natural colours. The Hues especially the magenta against the neutral background has added a real 3rd dimension that gives much drama.

I like what Paul is doing because he is a painter at heart, so he approaches the piece with a different view than a comic colorist. More of a painting feel to it.
