Angst! Angst! Yay! Better than pale and pasty and ugly like the lineart! Sorry ... me and the self-deprecating humor you know .. But yeah, this whole chapter is supposed to take place during the evening - hence the sundown bit in the previous page. It dawned on me (no pun intended!) that most of this comic (perhaps even all of this comic) has taken place during the day. One thing I need to do is start changing things up ... like the season and the environment (no more forests!). So yeah ... this is the beginning of that particular experiment.

Besides, this chapter is total angst! You know that already

yesh it is. But forests are so my Favorite backdrop to have as I have discovered though making my anthology.
I'm guessing then your next season shall be autumn since those two farmer dude's fields seemed pretty ready to harvest. If it's corn, then end of summer is when you'd harvest. (I'd know...I'm surrounded by cornfields. ) 'nuff blabbing.

I wouldn't do autumn in the woods...unless it's like a pine woods cuz man...all those colors. @_@

Yep...corn. There was definitely corn in your comic somewhere. It was more than knee-high (it's knee-high by the 4th of July) and high as an elephants eye in late summer.

I think I'll stop now before I fall into the stereotypical midwestern farmer's daughter. (Even though I'm totally a city slicker).

It'd fun to do autumn ... though I don't know how well it would turn out. It would just be fun to get a different color scheme going for the comic! Instead of brown ... green green green ... brown
