Here's a tutorial on how I color cloth using lineart by Renmazuo [link] I don't claim to be an expert, but the tutorial gives one way on how to approach and think about cloth.I hope it's helpful! (And not too wordy).

This is really helpful! Although, I think knowing what brushes you used would be nice. Also how does one choose the shade color? Do you just bring up the color wheel and choose a lighter shade or is more thought put into it? I'm still such a beginner so any advice would be great!

Exactly how do you make the shadow of the hand fall, i'm having a bit of trouble understanding how you did that. If you may, would you mind clarifying the please. neither the less i love how you color, and your techniques are magnificent!

Thank you SO much for making your tutorials! I am new to color, but have been drawing for my whole life. Color has introduced multiple problems for me as well as metal. I also found your mention about the way shadows fall VERY useful! I keep forgetting that shadows do fall on things according to their shape. I believe the lack of shadows falling down is a result of my problem with light source.
If you decide eventually to make a light source tutorial, I wouild definetally be one to read it. Thanks again for your contribution!
