Here's the completed picture that I've been using for my tutorials. I'm happy with everything except her hair, which, if I have time, I'll redo eventually. Her eye turned out surprsingly nice, though I redid it a couple of times before I got it just right, so I don't have a tutorial ready for her eye. Eventually... I'll get around to it. I would love to see just a tutorial of how you do your characters. your proportions are terrific and your coloring is just fantastics. I am sooooooooooo jealous of your eye coloring. They look like big orbs that would steal my cash if I stared at her too long. Plush she looks so delicate. That is something else I can really be mad at you about!

I don't think my drawing skills are that great ... just in case you're confusing my drawing skills with renmazuo's whose lineart I colored. Though sometimes I get inspired and create nice pieces like my Link piece. Actually, my dA account is biased because I only post nice work on here XD
I'll get around to making an eye tutorial one of these days.

LOL! I post everything I draw because it takes me so long and sometimes I want help on construction before revealing the finished product.
Any chance you would have the time to color the picture Moe 5, which is lineart located in my gallery? I would love to see how you would approach it.

That's a good idea. I wish more people commented on OMU because I'd like more constructive criticism, but there's not much activity on there. I'd like to know how to improve more, because I feel like I'm starting to stagnate in terms of my art skills

Hmm, I could loan you two of my friends. They are constructive yet honest. None of that "your art sucks" stuff.
Typically I only offer criticism when asked during the description. I do, however, always take criticism whether I ask for it or not.

Thanks. Yeah, I figured I should get around to finishing the picture. I was putting it off for a while because I don't like how I color hair XD I shouldn't leave it for last because I run out of patience by the end. I'm glad you like it, though.
I'm still waiting for Candid Bandit to come back XD You know, there should be a website for unfinished comics, where creators can post up a text version with maybe a few illustrations.

I actually like how you coloured the hair, especially the left part, the light seems to be perfect there.
The colouring on the scarf and the folds you rendered with the shading is to die for.The eye looks as if it was made out of a jewel!
My favourite part has to be the colour choice of the fabric on her waist and breast, i don't know...I just love that shade of green>_<
You must be one of the most detailed colourists on earth!

Aw, your English is great. Thanks for all the compliments. The scarf and her eye are my favorite parts, though I am in love with that shade of green too! My coloring muse was with me when I colored this pic. Usually I'm too lazy to do so much detail XD I'm really happy with how it turned out, so I'm glad I had the time to finish it. I hope you post more stuff up on OMU!

Ah! At last we see what all those beautiful tutorials were creating. She looks very sweet, and I now see the bit of jewelry by the gem is a hair piece. I was really curious about that from the tutorial, I could not for the life of me figure out what it was. =^.^=

lol. It's like those pics they use in movie theatres where they just show pieces of the picture and you have to guess who it is. (I hope you know what I'm talking about or I just sound wierd XD). I suppose the wierd dangly does look really out of place unless you see the full pic.
