Description
One of the pieces from the con that I had to take home and finish because I ran out of time ;_; Unfortunately, my style has reverted back to cartoony so this vampiress doesn't look nearly as sexy or scary as it should -_-;It was a lot of fun designing the costume though and the saucy pose (she's licking blood off her finger). I added Morticia curls to her dress because I thought it would be fun ^_^

But vampires are immortal! Unless you stake her. I'm still not happy with the fact that she's so cartoony. I'd rather be able to create sexy characters like those you see in Marvel or Image comics.

There's already Valerie, bent on staking her for stealing her boyfriend and then eating him. There's no reason why that can't happen if i can't fix the chara design.

This is my normal style. Usually I draw things really cartoony, but I've been trying (with my comic) to change my style so that people look more mature and less stylized. It worked for about 5 pages and then I reverted back to cartoony. It takes a lot of focus and effort to draw in a different style because I've drawn the same cartoony way for years.

I wish I could keep the same style every time I draw! I don't know how animators and comic artists do it! I suppose they have a cheat sheet for every character they draw. Problem is, consistency is also boring :{
