Nice one! Shame about it being plain water-type, I could easily imagine it being either Water/Fighting or Water/Steel (the clam shells could pass as boxing gloves and since it's based slightly on shields, well - shields are normally made of metal). Still though it's pretty cool. Could've been an alternative form to Clampearl or Shelder!
