A fire/dragon that's not a mega or a legendary. I'd go for that

Hate to be that guy, but the manatee would have an advantage against both Grass and Fire, even though the water and fairy damage would be neutral against the Fire/Dragon tiger.

Don't listen to fans. Listen to what fits. All types link to a weakness to one as a resistance to another: Water/Dark, Grass/Fighting, Fire/Psychic. That's just the most recent example.

Well I do it for my watchers, not for myself, as there is nothing that would benefit me otherwise. And recently, maybe exceptionally, the trend is the typing cycle. But other gens (Sinnoh for example), don't respect that trend.

I really like the fire type the most. I rarely start the game getting water types since they are easy to run into on your adventures.

I also made a grass bird starter! Β Mine started as a dodo then eventualy became a terror bird though!
I'd probably pick the bird, though they all look amazing. Β I'd buy two versions so I could use all three

Oohhh these look really cool. I love terrorbirds, so I like the Grass starter a lot, buuut Fire/Dragon is a much better combo I think, and so is Water/Fairy...not sure which one of these I'd pick, but I'd definitely be happy with it because these look totally awesome.

It seems kinda weird that the Fire-type final has the best type match-up against the others.

How so? Although water and fairy cannot do super effective damage to it, the fire type cannot do nearly any damage to its water type counterpart

The Fire-type final has an advantage both ways (no SE from the Water, and it still holds an offensive advantage over the Grass).
The Water-type final does not. It can still take SE damage from the Grass, but it cannot produce any super-effective STAB attacks against the Fire.

I would argue that the Water/Fairy is the strongest as, although they both cancel each other out in terms of SE, the Water has immunity over one typing

But it can still get wrecked by a Grass-type move. The fire-starter takes normal damage from both Water- and Fairy-type moves.

Equally, the fairy typing would wreck the grass pokemon's dark typing as well. Neutralizing it. As where, the water resists the fire and is immune to its second typing, and is super effective over it's only threat, the grass.

But in game you wouldn't play them simultaneously lol which is why we get to choose one of the three in which we would battle it's opposite throughout in game story lol in this case , if I choose water. And my rival has grass, until we both evolve to stage 2, it would be regular type advantages. When we evolve, we would both have equal advantage. Select Fire in this case, and you are at a disadvantage with your rival

I can't help but pick the Grass type, 'cuz that's my thing. But damn, that Water(/Fairy) is a great concept! I don't see the Dragon in the Fire's final evolution though.

Although I understand where you are coming from, the typings and ideas were fan based. So I worked with what I got haha but the fire type is based on Shisa and fire guardian dragons.

Canon Dragon-types are mostly homogeneous reptiles with wings, so I was confused at first. I like when things are taken a different way, and I learned about Shisa to boot. Thank you!
