Here they are at last. A complete redesign of my Starter Pokemon from the Pikos region, back when I had first predicted the starters before Alola was announced.You can think of it as Alola reimagined!

water starter is favorite, but it does give me poison type vibes. but regardless the design is amazing <3

Man, both Syntherror and Lavaroar are calling my name. It was a tossup for me between those two in the beginning and middle stages, and now the decision is still not that easy.
But if I had to be honest here, I'd end up going with Lavaroar, mainly because of its awesome Fire/Dragon typing, but really, both of those Pokemon are pretty freaking incredible looking. I'd probably go on to say that I like them better than the official starters that they used for Alola(I actually really like them, so I'm not just saying this as a hater of Gen 7 or anything like that).

I was literally thinking the exact same thing. I think that if I had to choose, I might go with Lavaroar just because of its dragon typing, and I really love dragon types.
