Fire type is a dragon because it is based on the chinese mythos. The sea monster was just to balance things, plus pink bubbles lolΒ

Actualy when people first discoverd manatees which I belive your water starter is based on those animals, they though those were mermaids so you were spot on the desigh. Loved your starters BTWΒ

Just to let you know DevilDman, your starters are much more apealing than the official starters. I'm Team Rowlet anyways but your bird starter is AWESOME! It's first form is absolutely adorable and it's middle evolution is so cool as well. But that Final velociraptor/ostrich/terrorbird is epic despite it's strange typing. What are the alternative abilities though? My idea would be speed boost, tough claws, and magic bounce. My Grass starter of yours would have Night Slash, Leaf Blade, Brave Bird/Aerial Ace, Detect.

Such great designs but I wish that the types were a bit more balanced. Fairy beats Dark. Fire beats Grass. Grass can't beat Dragon and neither can Dark

True, but not all gens were balanced. In fact, these starters were based on fan polls. I think I would have went with Grass/Ghost just to balance it out a bit more
