This is just me thinking of what Pokemon I would use in this region based on the ones revealed so far, and not me planning to steal the ideas for my Fanfiction. So no worries. Normally in my Fanfiction I use a rotation, but here will just be a team as if I was starting the adventure as Nathan.
I would have Syntheskull, Frandugstein, Ferrocket, Clashield, Cavalera, and Dracoatl.
I realize that's two dark types, but I couldn't resit choosing both those Pokemon. I might choose not to use Frandugstein until post game though depending how hard it is to run into a Type: Null.

Just a sidenote, in my own dex I plan on Gruit having two evolutions, Frozzbat has one, and Nandertod also has two. Hope that helps with dex spacing for you.

cool, so my idea is a water/fairy, Ice/Dark types, Orca and bottlenose dolphin evo line.
the dolphin will have a bottle cap motif [because bottle nose dolphin, get it? XD] being a fairy/water type.
the orca line having ice "swords" for fins and being dark type with water and ice.

Well I do want to make a dolphin pokemon, I am just not a fan of accessory-type/inanimate object pokemon additions lol I love cheetahs, but it's not in the tropical region. I am hoping to draw one for my next region (I am thinking Africa, shh

well I have never actually seen a dragon type wolf poke'mon. in tropical claimants maybe this pokemon came form a different reigon but became more docile in a different reigon while also more powerful. hence it became a dragon type. I also want to see dolphin line pokemon. they so work for tropics!!

Hmm, I'll have to think about how a wolf can look like a dragon. I have my Fire starter Tiger that took on the Dragon typing, and base on chinese legens (although a lion but similar to tiger). When I draw I tend to really look into the anatomy and legend around what I work with. I don't like drawing things that would sound cool, I'm too scientific for that haha I try to make it environmentally appropriate. Probably the success to making really good pokemon that I am trying to improve on. Don't know why I'm blabbering haha procrastinating homework
