Yup! When we release the emulator the copyright will be enforced. Until then everyone has the time to change their name.

I don't think you can enforce a copyright of a game already infringing on a copyright (Pokemon) unless you have permission from Nintendo or something.
In fact I would keep a low profile with your game. Nintendo tends to shut fangames down.
