I'm sorry that all I couldManage to care for you was
Just a simple 5 minutes.
Five minutes is only a 12th of an hour
And hardly substantial in a day;
Five minutes can go by so fast,
For you it was a blink of the eye.
But don't worry,
Because for 5 minutes
You meant the world to me;
Reality was skewed
And I couldn't tell what was real,
All I knew and all I cared
Was everything you are.
Now you're let down
Because you wanted more than that,
And 5 minutes wasn't enough to
Satisfy. You can't taste a piece
Without enjoying the whole thing.
