The gentle thud became an incessant groan,
A groan to a racing pulse,
And a racing pulse to a missed heart beat.
My blood pumps wrong,
And I can’t catch my breath.
But you were like all the others,
Your sweet smell and glorious smile.
No, you weren’t the same,
Since the first day you’ve been
So much more.

No, the problem wasn't that he was doing things and I think it was because he under appreciates me, the problem was I was doing things to appreciate him, and was getting no response. Not even a thank you, when I went out of my way to be nice.
So, I'm quitting. I don't have to be nice to someone who can't thank me for it.
