pier images have been done a million times before - i don't care - this is mine and i love it
Cancun, Mexico - the Carribean Sea - no color adjustment - check out those incredible shades of blue - it blew my mind how it went from light green to deep blue so intensely - my husband swears its because of this dense sea grass that collects in the darker parts as he snorkled - anyway - peaceful gorgeous stuff that reminds us all the world is sooooo much bigger than any problems we might have

i'm sure a gorgeous sunset would have really set it off but then the water would be too dark and you'd not see the tones of the water shades of blue

wow.this is like a dream. I wish i was just sitting on that spot and just relax. Enjoy life.. It kinda feels like it when im looking at the picture! It feels like Im right there and staring and staring to the sea.
wow. The Carribean Sea. I have heard of this place a lot, they all say its so beautiful.but never had a chance to go there. maybe next summer

This is one of those few times where you'd want to take a long walk off of a short pier.
Reminds me of the house we had in the Bahamas. It was beautiful. The backyard was sand with patchy pieces of grass that just dropped off into the ocean. The first morning we were there, I woke up, ran out the back door and jumped in.

i want to be somewhere tropical! this is gorgeous. the shades of blue/green as you said, are incredible, but what's even better is the way they contrast with the weathered grey of the pier. and your composition is right on.

yeah, i have been to cancun too. GREAT WATER. Too bad i was only 8 so i cant remember much but it was amazing. The water was cristal clear, i could even see my feet when i was standing in it. I was on the east side of it, and it was just amazing.

yes, it's yours and i love it too. it's very simply composed... nothing fancy *in* it... (i don't know how to explain my use of the word 'fancy' here... agh)... what i'm trying to say is that what makes this photo wonderful is how *you* made it beautiful in it's empty simplicity. another thing i love is how unreal it all seems... and yet one knows that it *is* real...
lastly, it looks like a nice place to sit and look out to the neverending sea... *dreamy*
