I just spent ten minutes merely looking in the eyes of the person on the photo.
So very fascinating, full of raw emotions; desire, lust, need, want.
I love that. Looking people in the eyes, I mean. And I admire it when someone is able to catch so many emotions reflected in someone's eyes in a photo.
The whole series is very intriguing and highly fascinating.
Love is an Illusion is my favourite - after this one.
I like the color contrast in this one. The vivid red standing out against the clear black & white.
Masks are very interesting, in my opinion, and I like how the mask is almost a part of the person, because it's like a second skin with the paint/make up you used; and the fact that it's heart shaped gives it a nice feel to it.
I will definitely look at this photo some time longer and think about it.

thank you so much for really looking into them and leaving such a generous comment. i'm the model in all of them - i just changed the eyes on a few for intensity. lust is my favorite one (this one) b/c of its intensity. but i am fan of all of them. i've done face make up twice - this series and then one for Valentine's day in a red/white harlequin make up pattern

The intensity in 'lust' is breathtaking. I don't really dare to breathe while looking at it and I feel totally captured by the look in your eyes.

I dont see anything wrong with a little lust, I also see nothing wrong with this piece.
The black and white with the strawberry are a nice fit and the composition is wonderful.

Wicked! Absolutely wicked! Look at the intensity in the eyes and the deliciousness of the red strawberry. Add to the heart-shaped paint of the face and you've got the title and the intention down pat.
This is my favorite of the series.

DEEP look from his eyes. Expression.. performance.. the expression is really DEEP, weird.. you can't appart your eyes from this picture: so real and contrastant.. rare..

you won't velieve it, but I cant appart my eyes from his eyes!!!! I swear.. looks so real... his eyes hold my eyes!! I think it happens when some picture is so expressive... in this one the expression comes from that eyes.. Is like.. iF he is thinking about some madness or flavor strawberried

your eyes and the strawberry are simply exquisite!
I love this shot, but it is a pity that the paint was cracking up a bit... yet, it adds texture and body to the photo, which is great!

No offense, but this makes me think of baboons. It's not a beauty thing, more of a contrast in the face thing. Aren't there monkeys or baboons that look like they have painted faces?

Wow. That is very strange. I get the feeling that the other shoulder should be painted white too, and the background should be black. But that's just my way of looking at it. It's a striking image for sure!

both shoulders are equal - the light may have them appear different - i wanted the make up to dissolve into human skin
all of these are fun - make up is really fun to play with and this natural light worked well for with the white make up part
