As you stare into her eyes, romance her canvas on your fingertips, and desperately wish the rose to come alive and challenge the taste of paint on her lips that hold you wondering…….is she alive or is she art?

(FULL VIEW to get close but don’t touch
They always tell me that in galleries. 
)I wanted to play up how I see this as half man/half art. Literally and symbolically. The left side is more “real” and the right side is more “art” as if she’s coming in or out of a canvas. The human face but covered in paint with a symbol of love
is literal. I hope you guys enjoyed them and thank you for supporting this kind of creativity in ANYONE!

I think it's very beautifully done. The contrasts are great; easpecially on the one with the strawberry and this one.

I really like this series. The black and white seems to give the faces new shape, and it's just so different, and unique. It's awsome! And I love that rose! Really cool.

love that little wisp of hair to the right
and how the rose stem is light until it goes into your mouth
and comes out dark on the left end of the frame.
(speaking of) the crop and framing is really great,
i like the way your heart shaped face
mirrors that heart shaped point of ear
and just to the right further -
a heart shaped pointed tuft of hair.
you'd look wonderful on a wall
for some reason, i'm drawn to that paint patchy
bare and vulnerable part of your shoulder.
but in a good way . . .

Hehe, obviously I'm not even close to being the first to notice how awesome this image is! But still, I MUST comment. I really love that the black paint is imperfect in places. And the whole image in general works beautifully. It makes me think of this old piece I did: [link]

oh god, this looks so good. i love the b/w to it because it makes the colour on the skin look more like a texture which fits with the "art" side of this photo.

Sometimes, it seems as if you are attempting to create a new artistic movement where it is all about magnifying the freshness of details. I do wish to imply that you are doing a brilliant job with this but it seems as if it is not catching on. You are doing nothing wrong. Everyone else is just slow to catch on.
