Got to love being an interrogator, either the interrogatee coughs up the information you desire or they stay silent and force you to bring out fun implements like the one pictured, either way you win!
The green Varya's skin and the yellow of her uniform go well together and the expression on her face conveys that the device being employed is doing anything but tickling. 
She's certainly in one precarious position, the safety of her shipmates riding entirely on her will being able to withstand whatever it may be that her tormenters have planned for her tootsies or other parts of her body.
