You meet new people every day
Most will go but some will stay
You decided one day to take a chance
One someone whom you’d never even given a glance
Though shy at first, her life started to mound
Into a life of fun whenever you were around
You helped this person be everything you knew they could be
I know all this because that person was me;
I can tell you this now without ever a doubt
If I was ever to lose you I’d scream and I’d shout
So much has happened but never once did you lie
You’ve made me laugh so hard I’ve started to cry
I owe you so much I don’t know where to begin
You finish every sentence with that cheeky little grin
You’re not always happy but you’re very seldom sad
You’re too nice to everyone to ever really get mad
You’re funny, you’re smart, you love to have fun
You go around singing about cows with guns
You “accidentally” lasered a little fish
You’re as crazy as me…hello we invented the chish
I now don’t know how to bring this to an end
