How do you tell them that they're everything & more?
How do you tell them that it's them that you adore?

How do you give something that will never be enough?
How do you shed that layer thats been whats kept you tough?

How do you explain why you do the things you do?
How do you explain that it's all because of you?

How do you tell yourself that you're in over your head?
How do you tell yourself that to them you may as well be dead?

How do you tell yourself that you're simply just too low?
How do you tell yourself what you'll never truly know?

These questions have no answers, they torture me inside
I no longer can remember just how many times I've cried

They tease me when I'm with you, ripping my head apart
They race through me uncaring, they're tearing at my heart

So many questions but the main one is why
Why must I continue living this lie?

On the outside I'm smiling, to you as happy as can be
