KNEEL BEFORE MY WHITE-FEATHERED, SAILOR-SUITED, GOLLUM-SOUNDING GOD, PEASANTS !
From Cartoons to Comics to Songs, I owe a lot to what HE brought to the table ! Also, I much prefer Quack Pack and Legend of The 3 Caballeros over both Duck tales. Why ? THE DON IS WHY !
Here I mixed elements from the 40's Jack King cartoons Donald and the 50's Carl Barks comics Duck. Just a reminder; whoever rants on about the Barks/Rosa "canon" is a fucking liar. Carl Barks NEVER had that sort of mentality, he was all about the quality of the story, the gags and the fun it brings. Rosa's approach is more sentimental (ironically, more Disney-like ! XD ) and restricted, though to his credit, he did not impose it on other Disney artists (the editors unfortunately did...). Though, in all Disney stuff, I am more of the Disney Italia school of thought. I was never ashamed of enjoying me some Disney cartoons or comics NOR do I find it particularily edgy or smart to spit on Disney altogether just because they're Disney. Even if I DO have criticisms of my own towards some of their output...
